Hi, I was recently listening to a CMT Association Podcast interview with Buff Dormeier, CMT where they spoke highly of using volume and volume indicators specifically when investing/trading. Buff Dormeier won the Dow Award in 2007 for his paper Price & Volume, Digging Deeper where he published his indicator "Volume Price Confirmation Indicator (VPCI), a methodology that measures the intrinsic relationship between price and volume.”
The formula for it is disclosed in the paper (but also here: https://cmtassociation.org/video/volume-price-confirmation-indicator-2/) and is relatively straight-forward, but my being a beginner in C# coding limits me from creating a custom indicator for it.
Because of his success in the technical analysis field and the recognition received for his work with VPCI, I'm wondering if WealthLab would consider coding this indicator and adding to the list of available indicators.
