I ran this strategy today and WL reported a monthly profit of 2.57% for January 2026. The only trade that occurred was closing a losing trade (-0.28) that was opened earlier in the week and closed on Friday. Why is WL reporting a profit?
Rename
Equity curve rose in value by 2.57% between 31 Dec. and 2 Jan. That's what would happened if you bought TQQQ on Monday's open and sold at [a loss at] the open on Friday.
