Are you using a Position Size of 100% of equity? If so, you will need to give yourself some margin, like 1.2:1, in order to ensure you have sufficient simulated capital to take all the trades. Look at the Metrics Report, and find NSF Positions. If you have any NSF Positions, this is where they went.

Also we recommend to upgrade to B43 since it fixes a bug in Blocks:

I wonder why I need to set margin factor to have sufficient fund. Should I get enough captial after the position is closed?

For that backtest, select Market Open Next Bar for the Basis Price.
But see the Help Guide (F1) for Important Notes for Market Open Basis.

If you're using a cash account, wouldn't you have to wait a few days for the exit trade to settle before the funds would be available?

It's only T+1 now since May 28, 2024. I think that means funds should be settled for a trade the next day.

The next day, so proceeds from an exit won’t be available for an entry on the same day.
