Coinbase doesn't allow Stop orders without a Limit price. In other to solve that, in Coinbase Build 8 we simply place a Stop order as a Stop Limit order with a limit price of 10 ticks past the stop trigger price. This gave me the idea for this feature request for any broker:
Feature Request -
Even if a broker allows stop orders, make a new Trading Preference to Auto-Stage/Place Stop orders as StopLimit types. The preference should have an adjustable range for the allowable limit by n-Ticks and/or by Percentage.
This would allow Building Block (and C# code) customers to Auto-Trade with Stop Limit orders without modifying their strategies.
