W/in the analysis series.

Is there a way to see which indicator shows the most variability by each metric?

Thank you.

You might take a look at the indicator profiler extension. But I'm not sure if that's what you're looking for because I don't understand your goal. https://www.wealth-lab.com/extension/detail/IndicatorProfiler

So I am back to this.

When one runs a backtest, the analysis series runs in the background and from what I can tell, it adds all these indicators to the one's strategy and if you click through all of them and adjust the variables which it has already calculated it would tell you which one adds the most profit or profit per bar or whatever.

@superticker
Does the thing you mention above tell you which one would have added the most profit?

"Profit" is a function of the strategy as a whole, not any specific indicator.

The ScoreCard metrics characterize profit over all the trades. The main profit metric is Sharpe Ratio. It's a Z-score of the profit (look up its calculation method and you'll see), and it's quite accurate. You can use the Strategy Ranking tool to look at Sharpe Ratio. And if you use the Symbol Ranking tab, you can get a breakdown of ScoreCard metrics (such as Sharpe Ratio) by symbol.

There is finantic.IndicatorSelection, which is an extension to help you pick the best indicators for your strategy, but I haven't used it.
