My IB account isn't updating on Wealth-lab. I sold 10 positions this morning and planned on opening up to 10 new positions, but all of my trades are erroring out because it says that I don't have any buying power, when I reality I do.

Rename
wealth lab is saying I only have $1055.55 of buying power when I really have $50,600.
I click on the request update from broker, but its not doing anything.

What kind of account is it? Cash only?
When you check your "Account", what is the value for "Buying Power" under "Available for Trading"? (It will be different than Excess Liquidity.)

It looks like you are right, wealth-lab was doing its job. It is a cash account. I switched from a margin account because my strategy was taking more positions than I wanted it too and I was going on margin.
Cone, do you have any idea why my funds wouldn't be available?

It's a broker question, but it will have something to do with when settled funds become available after trading. That's at least partly based on the account type and its level of funding.
Apparently I violated the "Free Riding Rule" now I just have to figure out what that is and how to keep from doing it again.
