When I use ScaleInd in the strategy builder, I lose the ability to optimize the indicators that are used in ScaleInd.

Please add the ability to optimize such indicators or provide the ScaleInd code and I will do it myself.

As you're writing this clause again - the answer is: forget about it, Wealth-Lab is closed source code.

I've untagged this topic and instead renamed the original topic for we don't need two requests to reject or implement what essentially is the same thing: a transformer indicator.

Why not just use a code based strategy? You’ll be able to optimize ScaleInd then.

Glitch,

Yes, I can do this through code and it would be nice to add this capability in the Strategy Builder. In general, everything that can be done in the Strategy Builder can also be done in code. It's just that it's more convenient to do this in the Strategy Builder, especially for those who do not know how to program.

Eugene,

I want to clarify about the closed code. When I wrote an indicator with four values displayed as a bar or a candle, I used the sample code of the VChart indicator from the forum. It turns out that not all WL code is closed?

Denis, this is a rhetorical question because you're taking a sample code exposed for demo purposes.

In any case, having the code for ScaleInd would not help. This is a limitation at a deeper level. Don’t we already have a #FeatureRequest for this?

Glitch, exactly: here it is.

I just voted for it - so far, I am the only one...
Denis: as far as I know there are no objections to someone voting for their own FRs.
