An API for access of saved optimizations would allow to create extensions with new features:
* Compare optimization runs with different optimizer settings
* Compare optimization runs with different optimizer algorithms
* Compare predictive power of performance metrics across various optimization runs
* Visualize influence of parameters across multiple optimization runs
(...of course I can do all of this with a lot of copy/paste to excel and a lot of error prone typing...)

This #FeatureRequest is about an API, i.e. a set of library routines.
Such routines can be used by everyone who owns a WL license.
Most probably a Extension Author will use such libraries to build a fancy extension.
Such an extension will probably cost a small one-time-fee, especially if it is fancy.

OK, this is the number one wish list item now (DrKoch how many ghost accounts do you have??? - jk)
We already have classes in the WL framework to work with saved optimization files, I suppose it's just a matter of documenting them to close this item.

No ghost accounts. But obviously a few people who also think these ideas are valuable :)
And yes, some documentation would be helpful.

The SavedOptimizationResult class has now been documented in Build 54, including an example in its Parse method, so closing this Wishlist item as completed.
