My strategy isn't supposed to take trades if the close of SPY is below the 120 day SMA. It appears that SPY closed below the 120 day SMA yesterday, but my strategy is still giving me trades. Am I coding this wrong in building blocks?

Where is the trade? There is none on the chart.
At any rate, I cannot reproduce the greater-than-zero Signals count.
The chart just shows the SPY with its 120 day SMA. The strategy uses the SP 600 and you can see its generating 405 signals...whereas I think it should not have any signals at all due to spy being below its 120 day sma
I think I figured out the problem...my Norgate data isn't updating, it hasn't updated since Sept 15 for some reason and I've haven't been on wealth lab for a few weeks to notice.
It sounds like the Norgate data not updating is the problem. I ran the strategy on the S&P 100, S&P 500 and Russell 1000, and it never generated any signals for today. The most recent signal date is 2023-09-20 with entry date of 2023-09-21. That is correct per the chart.
Glad to see you've figured out the source of error. A screenshot of Strategy Settings with Norgate DataSet on it could've sparked an idea.
@paul1986
There shouldn't be a signal for today.
@paul1986
There shouldn't be a signal for today.
@Eugene - yes, that was my expectation - no signals for today, and none were generated.
I just got Norgate updated and the strategy ran fine and generated no signals. Sorry for the waste of time.
