I see some results that produce 5 trades a day per stock and have .1% average gain. That is wonderful even though sounds tiny, if it happens in real the world, it would be .5% a day, 2.5% a week.
But, no commission or slippage factored in backtest.
For more experienced WLers here, what is the minimum average profit per trade in the real world you have experienced that is worthwhile? If the real world loses .1% a trade, then it would be breakeven. If a strategy has .3% avg gain then I guess it would work great, as total slippage should be quite a bit less than that.
