Legacy customer here. Can't see any email notifications regarding this change being afoot.

On the software page it says Wealth-Lab 6.9 licensed customers have a free trial period to Wealth-Lab 7 that begins when they subscribe to one of the Plans. How does my legacy customer status get recognised?

Right now I cannot access my installed instance of WL6.9. It wants an activation key and no longer recognises either of mine ("Request failed with empty response" was the error). Will I least be able to view my scripts to work on them convert them when I sign up to to the trial?

Am a bit concerned here as to whether installing v7 will wipe 6.9.
No more support ticket portal?

Sorry for the inconvenience. The info below will help you fix the error:

Can`t authenticate WL 6.9 - The request failed with an empty response

We launched the new website but changes made were breaking to the legacy software authentication. An announcement has been posted to the Home Page tool, by email to customers with active licenses, on the WL6 website home page and also here on the forum. Old support portal still works at the wl6 domain.

The takeaway is:

1. You can keep running WLD 6.9 after downloading and reinstalling its final version (6.9.24).
2. You can have an automatic free trial of WL7 after "buying" a subscription until the maintenance anniversary date.
3. WL7 can run together with WL6.
4. It's your call to enjoy the new features (live trading, parallel optimizations, multi-core backtesting and more) or stick with your current version.
