The In-Sample and Out-of-Sample fields allow you to select only a group of characters. For example, I can choose DOW30. I can't select a single AAPL character included in DOW30.

We could think about adding a similar choice between DataSet/Symbol as in MetaStrategies. Meanwhile you have the workaround: create a DataSet with one symbol to choose it in the dropdown box.

Also can you summarize your request/problem in the topic title next time? "Price Grid Genetic Evolver" was too broad, I had to rename it accordingly: "PriceGrid Genetic Evolver: choose single symbol". You added a feature request, isn't it reasonable to let voters know what this thing is about vs. just the name of the existing tool??

Being able to choose a single symbol for the Evolver is a change request that I thought about requesting many times, but never got to it.
