Wealth Lab 8 was working fine;
My computer went in for repair; Wealth Lab 8 was deleted
After my computer was repaired, I downloaded Wealth lab 8 and the extension for DTN data service.
Wealth Lab 8 launches successfully, but when I hit "streaming", DTN does not launch and the platform freezes up.
The IP address on the DTN service is noted as: IP 127.0.0.1;
I checked with DTN; there are not issues from their end.
What could be the interface problem?

You installed WealthLab's IQ Feed extension, but it's not clear if the IQFeed Client is still installed. Is the IQFeed Client launching?

Get it here: https://www.iqfeed.net/index.cfm?displayaction=support&section=download

Mr. Cone:

You found the solution. I appreciate your expertise. I had forgotten that element of the installation process

I just looked at the IQFeed client link above. It says the current version is 6.2.3.5.

I'm currently running IQFeed client 6.2.0.25 on Windows 10 Pro with the WL IQFeed extension Build 37. It's working okay. Should I upgrade anyway? Will upgrading the client break some of my IQFeed specific function calls?

This page has the change notes (If you can see this page without a dev login)
https://www.iqfeed.net/dev/index.cfm?section=notes

Upgrading improves the IQFeed client. The API protocol hasn't changed, and even if it had, our provider would continue to use the same protocol with an upgraded client. IQFeed is smart that way.
