At the moment, it is only possible to optimize the number of valid conditions within a multi condition group. I would like to have the option of automatically switching the contained conditions on and off. In other words, I would like to test all possible combinations within the condition group. Here is an example:
And here is another example with many conditions:
I would like to have an optimizer within the condition group or for the condition group that tests all possibilities of the conditions among each other.
I hope there are other WealthLab users who find this function useful.

So what's wrong with using NeuroLab to do exactly that? Take all the conditions (indicator outputs) and input them into NeuroLab and have NeuroLab generate a "composite indicator" of all those conditions to include in your strategy.
Let me also add, a Neuro Network (NN) is much better at processing nonlinear data than a linear optimizer. So the resulting composite indicator you build from NeuroLab should work somewhat better than what a linear optimizer would deliver.

Somewhat off topic, but in an information theory vein, it doesn't make sense to dice your data in more ways than you have orthogonal inputs. For example, if you're modeling with only Price and Volume as your inputs (two orthogonal inputs), then going much over two (or three) indicators isn't going to help much in your final strategy. What you should do is experiment with different transformations (indicators) in your development phase, then only retain those that work best.
In addition, I would try to bring in more orthogonal streams into your strategy. For example, add market sentiment, P/E ratio, PEG ratio, etc. The more you know the bigger the picture your model paints. Happy computing.

@superticker: Many thanks for the tip. I will try it out.
