I installed a trial version of Finantic.Optimizers for Wealth Lab 8. Is there a tutorial showing the features and how to use the extension within WL8.

All the WL optimizers use the same API interface, so they all operate in a similar fashion. I would start by reading the built-in Wealth-Lab Help docs about "Optimization". That will tell you how to use the Shrinking Window optimizer, which is easy to learn.
Then I would go the the "Extensions" section of the same Help docs and look for the subsection called "fanantic Optimizer" and read that.
