I would like WL7 to remember cursor type (crosshair/vertical line) and Offline Mode flag between sessions.

As I have to change it every time - to turn on Offline Mode and crosshair cursor type.

On one hand, the WL6 "Update On Demand" option remembered the choice between session. But setting and forgetting Offline Mode may have its consequences - like errors during backtest saying that benchmark data cannot be obtained. It can be misleading to the users.

For me, remembering cursor type between sessions would be plain annoying.

Why would anyone need to change cursor type every time?? – Except if it’s not remembered across sessions of course)). It’s more for Preferences – set and forget.

I would do something with these errors rather then not remember the mode)). It’s up to user to have your data updated if Offline mode is set, right? So if if data are douwnoloaded but not up to date it must not generate these errors – you have your data you control it, so why errors?

so why errors?

The warning message in the strategy's status I'm talking about is by design.

When posting their feature suggestions, users seldom think about the consequences of introducing or removing their desired option. This is something that we should consider as developers. That's why I'm frequently acting as devil's advocate.

Any plans to make 'Offline Mode' persists at least for the same workspace?
here is my scenario:
I use two machines, one for testing and development and the other for real time trading. However, I have only one IQFeed ID. So each time I open Wb7 on the test machine, and I forget to set 'Offline Mode', IQ disconnects the other machine and I have to reset it.

it will be nice to include the flag as part of the workspace setting.

Thank you.
