The Evolver found a wonderful strategy with this exit rule:
I think it should avoid using identical Condition Blocks.

I'd suggest to introduce the concept of an "ecological niche":
If two or more species live in the same niche (i.e. they are very similar) then only the best should survive.
To illustrate:
The evolver found this strategy first:
After a while it found an improved version:
I think this should have the consequence that the first strategy is removed from the Top-List.
(A better species has arrived in the Limit/MOC niche and dominates its parents...)
This concept would avoid, that some very similar strategies occupy the first ranks and give no space for other, more different animals.

@Eugene: This thread contains in fact two different #FeatureRequests which is no longer reflected by the new title.
Could you please move the second post to a new #FeatureRequest with a title like: Evolver: Use ecological niches
-or-
Evolver: Prune similar Strategies from Top-List

Dion is the author, let him decide if it's feasible and needed prior to introducing more requests.
