I have downloaded and installed extensions but learned meanwhile that I do not need them for my backtesting and trading. In WL I have not found the functionality to deinstall extensions. What can I do to deinstall extensions?
Rename
You can simply delete the DLL files in the program directory when WL7 is not running.
To make the process more convenient, the Update Manager has an Extension Removal tool:

Is this extension available for WL8?
Unfortunately not. Deleting a DLL file to deinstall an extension still works though.
