Hi everyone,
When we backtest we must choose a data set. However, if for example I choose as dataset: New York Stock Exchange and in my block strategy I choose conditions like: price between 20-30 € ; the moving average of the volume above 200,000 shares per day (to filter the pennystocks). The backtest will all the same filter all stocks but will not take a position. So it's going to take a lot of work for the computer. It is not possible to create dataset from other dataset filter? (for example with these conditions) because I see that it is only possible to create manually.
This would also allow me to add the dataset to filter on extensions and tools (indicator profile, strategy genetic evolver...)

Or if you know a site or software that does it and you just have to copy and paste.

ps : ask me if i should rephrase

Edit : the first option with Stock scanner still works?
I only put the conditions of Av volume greater than 2 million and price between 5-100 it does not work

It does work for me with the parameters you indicated, instantly creating a DataSet like this:

its not working for me it automatically scans 999 symbols then when i configure i have no symbol
set:
price 4-80 €
Avg volume: 1
atr: 0.5

the fact that I set the rest of the indicators to the value 0 is there an interaction?

It does work as I've just shown but it depends on indicator so make sure they stay at their default values where required e.g. 0, -1.

That works,
on the other hand I do not understand the values, then when I modify these values and then I put back by default (0,-1) it does not work.
