Hi,

Is there a way to clear the cache of stocks that I've looked at? I want to do a Schedule Data Update, but it's downloading every stock from a previous dataset that included every stock in NYSE, AMEX, and NASDAQ.

I'd like to only download my one dataset.

Thanks!

Hi,

That's how scheduled data updates work. They (typically) request data for cached - and in bar scales already requested. To clear the cache, switch to the Historical Providers tab in the Data Manager, highlight a provider, choose "Delete Local Files" and then "Clear Internal Request Tracking Info".

I must be missing something. I select my Dataset, and then schedule the update. When it starts it give me the following message. The scale for my Dataset is already set to Daily. I don't know what else needs to be set.

Updating Provider: TD Ameritrade
Please choose desired bar scales and update provider DataSet(s) first
Scheduled Data Update completed.

As a conclusion from Post #1, you just cleared the cache with all your previously requested bar scales. The WL message you're getting is self-explanatory. Just follow it and update your DataSet(s) one by one to "train" the bulk data update to make it "learn" your stocks and bar scales.
