When using the stocks suggested under -> DataSets -> Stock Scanner -> Custom criteria (1.000 stocks) as the data basis for backtesting, then Wealth-Lab does not show the results for all stocks in the tablet "By Symbol" but only for the first 278 symbols. How come?

Only symbols traded during the backtest are shown on the By Symbol tab.

Also By Symbol is calculated in the backgound in new builds. And new symbols' lines are added as they are calculated. I think you need to go to another tab and then come back to see new lines.

In the By Symbol tab also symbols not traded are shown -> see column "positions": For some symbols there is an 0.
In the Positions tab all positions held are shown properly. So, in that tab everything works fine!
Also, switching to another tab and coming back does not help either.

1. Have you entered something in "Symbol Filter"?
2. Is the issue persistent or disappears after reopening the Strategy window?

It's not clear how you determine that the first 278 symbols are shown because there is no such indication. Can you attach screenshots of what's going on and tell us what DataSet is this?

I am using the "Custom criteria" in the programmed DataSets. No I have not entered anything in the symbol filter and the issue is persistent. Just see the screenshot. The list only shows symbols till DNTUF

How many stocks are at the moment in the Stock Scanner DataSet? 1,000 is the maximum capacity (currently). Click on "Custom criteria" and note what Symbol Count reads. Are there symbols beyond DNTUF?

Under the Stock Scanner DataSet there is just the file "Custom criteria" comprising 1,000 stocks. Below DNTUF there should be shown the missing 722 symbols (= difference between 1,000 and 278).

1. Is this specific to a particular Strategy, some or all of them?
2. Any connection to Strategy type (Metastrategy, Rotation, normal, compiled)?
3. Does the issue manifest itself with other DataSets?

It seems that this appears only with DataSets that comprise a big number of symbols. I'm running the same strategy with a DataSet of about 500 symbols and everything is doing well with the smaller DataSet.
Nevertheless, I find it strange somehow since the positions held tab works properly in both cases!

Are there any error messages to be noticed in the Log Viewer when this happens?

There are no errors reported.

Thanks. Tried to reproduce it with a 1K symbol DataSet to no avail.

I tried again with a dataset that is smaller (e.g. 500 symbols). Then it works! Strange ...
