When I try to import a .csv dataset and click Open First ASCII File In Notepad it opens a different file than the one that I have selected in the target folder. It appears that it is opening the file that is showing up as Most Recent in that folder. What am I doing wrong?
Rename
It will open the first file it finds in the folder, not the specific file you targeted. Since all the files in the folder need to have the same format anyway this should not really be an issue.
Ok, I put the file in the WL Datasets folder and that resolved it. The data is now showing up in daily, weekly, and monthly format on the chart but it goes away when I choose quarterly. How do I fix that?
Not sure, perhaps you have a date range selected that is causing the quarterly data to be excluded? Quarterly ASCII is working fine as far as I can see. You can send us your data file to support@wealth-lab.com if you'd like us to help further.

Your file contains a few errors (i.e. empty lines) which have to be corrected prior to importing it into WL. For example:
