I get the following data download error for any new intraday dataset using an Alpha Vantage premium API key, but only when the "use fast intraday data loading" box unchecked:

The error persists with any timeframe (1, 5, 15, 30 or 60 min).

The "historical data loading testbed" loads up to 1000 bars (with 1, 5 or 15 min data).

Other data providers do not throw an error on intraday data (eg twelve data).

Alpha vantage intraday data downloads work fine with an Excel API and Google Sheets API. I can download years of intraday data using the same API key.

When "use fast intraday data loading" box is checked, new datasets load intraday data, but only the past 30 days worth of data regardless of whether I specify loading more than 30 d (eg 1, 2 or 5 y).

Using Build 92.

Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

In Historical Data Loading Testbed, loading 60-min data for AAPL is working just fine for Alphavantage with my API key. Can you take a screenshot of it, blurring the API key?

Sure, here you go, both w/ and w/o the box checked:

Looks like it works fine.

Forget about that, what happens when you request more data for a chart or Strategy?

@mkalayog, supposedly you have a cache created with a demo key or something like that. "Delete local files" and "Clear tracking info" for AV prior to attempt loading more data, more detail in the Help.

@Eugene, I deleted local files and cleared tracking info. Still the same error. I noticed that the loading starts at "AAPL batch 2000" and slowly counts up to "AAPL batch 2023" before the error appears, and then it starts back at "AAPL batch 2000", and does it over and over.

@Cone, same error occurs when I request more data from the chart.

Update: I replicated the error on a brand new install on a new machine.

Can you please confirm you can replicate the error with the following:
1. clear tracking info and delete local files
2. uncheck fast intraday
3. Data DL preferences set to past 3 years
4. use an API key for a AV premium subscription (75 requests/min plan)
5. create new dataset with AAPL
6. update Daily (works fine)
7. update 60 min

What you should see is "AAPL batch 2000...", "AAPL batch 2001...", and so on until "AAPL batch 2023..." and then throwing the error, and then restarting at "AAPL batch 2000..."

Thanks

Thank you, that seems to have worked. But unless I click on each symbol individually and manually update, the dataset loads 60 min data only from 1/1/2023. In offline mode, a given strategy processes data only from 1/1/2023 unless I've clicked on individual symbols and downloaded data for, say, the past 10 years. Both strategy settings and data download settings are set to past 10 years. How can I force-download data for the past 10 years so that I can run strategies in offline mode without downloading data from the server for each symbol on the fly?

There is no restriction to load intraday data from 2023. In my testing the provider loads all the data available. I also don't understand the remark re: offline mode. Already cached data matters - on how to clear it refer to Post #5.

Can you let me know exactly how you got to download all 60 min data from AV for a group of stocks? I've cleared cached data per Post #5, and I still got the same Error 400 for TSLA in Batch 2023. I'm getting Bad Request 400 errors for all the other stocks as well for 60 min data.

We don't maintain a premium subscription but probably could check if you share your API key with us in support@wealth-lab.com.

For the record, historical intraday backfill on a DataSet basis by the Alphavantage provider isn't working as designed. Currently, a workaround is to update a DataSet's symbols one by one. An improvement for this is on our todo list.
