Effective 02/20/2020 you can get the most frequently used market sentiment data using our Wealth-Data provider - the advancing, declining and unchanged issues for AMEX, NASDAQ and NYSE! Here are the symbols:

$AMEX_ADVN (AMEX Advancing Issues + Advancing Volume)
$AMEX_DECLN (AMEX Declining Issues + Declining Volume)
$AMEX_UNCHN (AMEX Unchanged Issues)
$NASDAQ_ADVN (NASDAQ Advancing Issues + Advancing Volume)
$NASDAQ_DECLN (NASDAQ Declining Issues + Declining Volume)
$NASDAQ_UNCHN (NASDAQ Unchanged Issues)
$NYSE_ADVN (NYSE Advancing Issues + Advancing Volume)
$NYSE_DECLN (NYSE Declining Issues + Declining Volume)
$NYSE_UNCHN (NYSE Unchanged Issues)

You can create a W-D DataSet by copying/pasting the symbols or by simply choosing them from "Market Sentiment" Classification Group in the New DataSet Wizard > Wealth-Data.

P.S. There will probably be no data for new highs and lows as well as the volume for any issues the unchanged issues and new highs/lows.

For me the new HI/LO data is just as important as price and its unfortunate that is not automatically updated anymore. I manually update the data but is there any possibility to develop a link to the data? Secondly I use multiple computers do I have to add data manually to each one or is there a better way?

Agreed. Isn't it luck that we've got the data for advancing/declining issues now that Unicorn Research stopped updating their data.

Like I said above:

It has the new 52 highs and lows for NASDAQ and NYSE as well as the monthly new high and low data that is also valuable for shorter term market trends. they also have the New Highs, Lows ect for each index like NYSE New Highs

Customer requested and Wealth-Lab listened:

Giorgos, we added the New Highs and Lows for AMEX, NASDAQ and NYSE to Wealth-Data. You can get them with our Wealth-Data provider.

Simply restart WLP for the W-D provider to update its Classification and discover the new symbols:

$AMEX_newhi (AMEX New Highs)
$AMEX_newlo (AMEX New Lows)
$NYSE_newhi (NYSE New Highs)
$NYSE_newlo (NYSE New Lows)
$NASDAQ_newhi (NASDAQ New Highs)
$NASDAQ_newlo (NASDAQ New Lows)

Once done you can create a W-D DataSet from "Market Sentiment" Classification Group in the New DataSet Wizard > Wealth-Data.

Thanks, you guys are great, saves a lot a time. I don't want to be greedy but is it possible to add the 52 week and one month Hi/Lo data?

It wouldn't make sense to do it. You can already create these series hands down. Simply use the built-in Highest/Lowest indicators on the source symbols ($..._newhi/lo).

What I meant is 52 week new highs and new lows for the Nasdaq and the NYSE and Russell 2000 and the 1 month. It would also be nice if you can add the Russell 2000 New Highs and Lows series

I know and don't plan to do that. Please re-read post #8 above and follow my suggestion. There is no point to add the derivative series which you can easily create and access in WealthScript on-the-fly.

Hi Eugene,

I see that you made a note that "... There will probably be no data for new highs and lows as well as the volume for any of the issues."

This information is needed for calculating TRIN.

What are the plans to add volume information?

Thanks for your help!

Hi Doron,

Customers asked, Wealth-Lab listened. The data for advancing/declining volume (but NOT for unchanged issues and new highs/lows) has been included in the historical data. From now on it will be included in daily updates. Simply update your Wealth-Data DataSet and its auto-correction will apply it to your existing symbols.

The NEWLO data does not seem right. As an example a value of only 4 for NYSE new lo's is way off. and it looks off for about a few weeks

I don't think there's any issue with our data. It depends on lookback period. For example, here's a source stating there were only 2 new lows for NYSE yesterday!
