Is there a checkbox or other simple way to backtest and have the strategy enter and exit same bar? Most of my real trades fill same bar (daily & weekly especially) and the backtests don't model this.

A year ago, yes. Did it ever get added? Without it the whole backtest process is flawed.
I'm not a programmer, and I'm trying to figure out how to post in in C# without it erroring and to be able to use it easily vs having to change the numbers in the programming instead of the Stragety Settings where one would expect to see it.
I don't expect to see it where one would expect (for reasons already explained in the other topic). Your claim that the backtest process is "flawed" is groundless. Since this topic is duplicate and raises tension I'm closing it.
