I think he probably means the Quotes tool. Of course anything is possible. Time, money, priorities, purpose, etc. are what's in question.
The problem I see is that the purpose of the Quotes tool isn't primarily for viewing level 1 quotes. Instead, is use to trigger Alerts based on the last traded price. Adding bid and ask fields adds 2 columns of data that isn't really used for that tool.

Cone, Thanks for you reply. The reason that I asked is that if the Quotes tool becomes more like Watchlist in ATP then I wouldn't need to use ATP during the trading hours. WLP is significantly faster than ATP (which gets bugged down during heavy trading).

My guess is that ATP performance will improve in 9.3, so monitor this. At least WLP6's Streaming re-write for the new Provider is really paying dividends now, but ATP 9.3 will also be using the new Provider.
