My Paper Account 2 has not been trading at all this week. It filled some orders last Friday but only 3 out of 4. Yesterday and today, it is not filling any orders at all although there were many trade alerts including 7 today. Also my Paper Account 1 has just updated for the day as scheduled at around 4:30 PM running all the set ups for tomorrow's possible trades if the limit prices hit during the day tomorrow. Paper Account 2, however, did not do the update as scheduled. When I spoke to a Fidelity WLP Support staff this morning about this problem, he said that one of his paper accounts did not update yesterday. So this doesn't seem to be my problem only. Can you report this problem to the engineers, and see what they can do about this? Thanks.

This may be normal for Paper Account activity that uses limit orders. See User Guide: Orders > Paper Trading > How Orders Are Filled

This isn't clear to me as Paper Accounts do not "update". What do you mean, precisely?

There is not enough information to identify or report a problem. You must be much more specific. Here's an example (that I'm just making up):

Today, a Short at 336.57 limit order for PCLN was triggered in the Paper Quotes window, Auto-Place. So, naturally the Orders tool was set up to Auto-Trade Paper accounts. The order remained Active, in the Orders tool starting at 12:18 throughout the rest of the day, but PCLN high was 336.58 at 12:19. Shouldn't the order have been filled?

Answer: Sure, in real life that order would have been filled. But, due to the paper trading constraints explained in the User Guide, "How Orders Are Filled", there's a good chance that the order could not be filled by the Paper trader.
