I've tried to access a CME 6JM4 symbol (Japanese Yen). 6J is defined in IBFutures and IBFuturesMargin files. I even added it to markets & symbols(I don't know if it made sense).

I can access NQ or ES but no 6J.

You have to enter the correct symbol for the contract. 6J is a local symbol.. I’m afk, but currency futures are more like EURM24, JPYM24, etc. Use the 2-digit year - required for trading. For more info, see Help > Interactive Brokers > Futures

6JM4 is from CME website, also works for IB Trader Workstation. JPYM24 & JPYM4 works, thanks!

Great. But don't use the single year symbol. It works.. until you try to trade it.
