Hello,

Since we no longer have Fidelity streaming data, is it possible to add the free XigniteBATSRealTime to streaming data provider in addition to the current yahoo option on WLD? I have been using this free streaming data provider in the last 5 year from tradingview.com without any problem.

Thanks!

Hi,

Where is this free? It requires registration, a 7-day trial to make any API calls, and then a subscription for probably a solid fee. Furthermore, Xignite does not support retail investors (personal usage). You have to be incorporated to become their client. Xignite have probably licensed their data for public usage to TradingView for a good fee, that's why you're using it free.

My bad. I did not pay additional fee to get the Xignite streaming data in my tradingview account so I thought it would be free. Appreciate your quick feedback!

Thanks for bringing up this question. By the way, I remember having looked at scraping TradingView once and couldn't find out how it works. Perhaps it uses some sockets or a lower level way of data transmission.
