Believing that I did my due diligence in searching for it, is it possible to show a strategies net profit as a percentage change instead of a dollar amount on the status bar of Strategy windows?
Along these lines, is it possible to set my own panels within that status bar?

Basically if you don't see this as an option (via some right-click menu, Preferences dialog etc.), it isn't possible. The status bar isn't subject to configure or extend with Wealth-Lab Extensions. While it's a rule of thumb, actually it can be done (sort of). See below:
