When I search time and sales for IQ Feed for TQQQ the data for yesterday 9-11-20 is there. However the most current date show in WLD is the day before 9-10-20. I checked the date set in WLD and it is set to today. Help appreciated. Michael

Hmm do we really need another topic to say the same thing i.e. "Update the DataSet" or "Update All Data" as per the User Guide?

Not getting full data in IQFeed

For ad-hoc data requests (updates), turn on File > Data On-Demand.

For fast backtesting make sure that "on demand" is off.

Otherwise, use the Data Manager to update by DataSet or all symbols for a Provider.

I have used the data manager and updated all data. Update data on demand is on. Still only goes to 9-10-20. M

Highlight the DataSet, click "Symbol Details", and take a screenshot. Attach it when replying.

I don't see how to get symbol details. I right click on dataset and there are options but not symbol details.. How do I do this? M

I search the users guide for symbol details and says there is no match. Sorry for not knowing such 'basic actions' but one would think it would be fairly obvious if it is so basic. Thanks. M

Please take a couple minutes to watch this for data update options: https://youtu.be/oB6tqLtlcMQ?t=60

If you still have a problem after updating the data, make sure you've configured the Data Loading control to show the latest data, like using Number of bars: 1000 or Most Recent 4 years, etc.

My feeling is that you're shooting yourself in the foot by specifying a Date Range. Possibly, the script (or Workspace) you're using is defaulting to an old range when you open it. If that's the case, reconfigure the Data Range control and resave the script (or Workspace).

Finally, if you're still having a problem. Make a screen shot of Wealth-Lab and attach it so we can help further.

I just tried to reproduce this. That's Index tab for a fixed list of keywords. Indeed there may not be a match for every small button, right. The very next tab (the one that is actually called Search) has results for "symbol details". The first result is called "Data Manager" and points to Data > Data Manager. The entry contains a screenshot with "Symbol Details" button visibly highlighted and documents it at the bottom (Data Manager Toolbar actions).

OK. I see that. Thanks. I will have to get back with you both on this issue tomorrow. Thanks again. Michael

Actually here is a screen shot of the details. As you will see it shows 0 bars updated. This occurred right after I ran update data for IQ Feed,

So Cone I tried what you suggested and put the data range on most recent and then hit stream again. And again it does not go past 9-10-20.

Michael, thank you for the problem report. Maybe it could help if we knew what IQFeed version you have installed. You can look it up here:

Tools > Extension Manager > "Providers": IQFeed

Or you could simply upgrade to the latest one from our website or from the same Extension Manager and restart WLD.

A couple of notes:

1. Your chart in the background is intraday, not a EOD one. That may also be confusing you if you're trying to switch it to Daily scale, for example.

2. On "Update Data" tab, is "IQFeed" actually checked? Otherwise update will not succeed.

3. How would the data update log look like if you update that DataSet now? Can you copy/paste it here?

OK. It is showing version 2020.09.11.0. This occurred after it showing an update available. I installed but there is still no change. The chart only goes to 9-1-20 instead of 9-11-20. Just to reiterate I went into time and sales on IQ Feed folder and it shows that the data for 9-11-20 is there.

Update. I did update data again and lo and behold I have the 9-111-20 chart that came in. So I appear to be good to go. Thanks. Michael
