I created a ASCII dataset from csv files and everything works fine. Now I want to add another symbol to the dataset, I copied the csv file to the folder. and tried to add the symbol through data manager. Hower the "Apply symbol cchanges made above to Dataset" remains grayed out.
Do I need to create a new dataset with all the dataset, delete the current one and rename the one I created ?

Yes, that's right. To facilitate the duplication, you might use "Save these Settings as a Common Format" and then "Copy format from a DataSet" (User Guide > Data > Data Manager > Create New DataSet > Data Providers > ASCII).
