Hello,

I haven't signed into WLP in some time. I was trying to sign in today but got an error after I entered my Fidelity credentials and clicked Enter. I was just hoping to refer back to a strategy I wrote a few months back. Without being able to start WLP, I thought I could surely just find the strategy code on my local machine and open what I imagined would be a text file to look at the strategy code. I couldn't find my strategies anywhere in the WLP installation directories. Would someone be able to help me find my strategies locally or help me update my installation such that I can log in and refer to my strategies?

Thanks,

Clay

Hi,

Yep, that's quite some time. During which WLP got decommissioned and our transition offer has expired. :\

Hi Eugene,

I assumed somewhere in the installation files I could find my strategies, though. Surely they weren't stored remotely such that old WLP users just fully lost their code?

QUOTE:
help me find my strategies locally

XML files of strategy code are located at
C:\Users\XXX\AppData\Roaming\Fidelity Investments\WealthLabPro\1.0.0.0\Data\Strategies
where XXX is your user name. AppData folder must be unhidden in Windows Explorer.

Best to get a license and transfer to WLD.

There is a migration helper utility to not bother about losing strategies or finding their source files. Once you get a license it will transition them to to WLD.
