When creating a new topic you can of course edit and change the description of the topic but you cannot change the subject at all. It would be nice to be able to change the subject if the topic shifts a bit, especially if no one has responded yet.

Don't worry, we technicians do it regularly. It's so common that users give their topic a name too general ("alerts" etc.), include "parasite" words (like "problem, question, newbie, help") and so on that the majority of topic titles you see here have been relentlessly renamed in the spirit of "A wise man's question contains half the answer". It's quite an effort if you think how many topics got renamed but this immensely helps other users find their solution (if they search, of course). But it would be a disastrous waste of users' time to have to go through tens of topics with identical title like "strategy monitor problem" that lack any problem description while searching for solution.

Glad I could be of assistance.

P.S. The "technicians" are Cone and yours truly.
