What I am looking to do, is get my Daily Strategy buy/sell signals quickly, with the fewest key strokes. I saved the Strategy Monitor with 4 Strategies as the Default Workspace.

When in my Default Workspace with 4 Strategies:
I see I can right click on a strategy and Run all Daily+ Now -> this looks like it generates buy/sell signals for all strategies in the Strategy Monitor to generate signals for the day. (Is this correct)?

Another approach to get my Strategy buy/sell signals quickly, with the fewest key strokes, I clicked on Workspaces, clicked on "Autorun Strategies when Workspaces open"

So then, I would start everyday with opening Wealthlab and I was expecting the default workspace to open and the Strategy Monitor in the Default Workspace, would run my strategies and generate daily buy/sell signals. (This is not happening, can I get this to occur).

This Workspace preferences activates streaming Strategies, not Strategy Monitor. What you need is to enable "Auto-Reactivate Strategy Monitor When Workspaces Open".

"What you need is to enable "Auto-Reactivate Strategy Monitor When Workspaces Open"."

Eugene,
I did as you say, "Auto-Reactivate Strategy Monitor When Workspaces Open".

I can see the data loaded. However, I don't see a buy/signal that I was expecting for an open position. When I right click a strategy in the Strategy Monitor, Run all daily+ now, I then see the sell signal in the window.

So it looks like the data loads on startup (that's what I want), but I also want these strategies to be run on startup on WealthLab.

Today is 9/10/22. I do see that the Strategy Monitor says Next Run at 9/12/22 at 19:00. Last Run says -None-

Can you please help.
Thanks,
Larry

The Strategy Monitor needs to be open for the scheduled run, and, launching Wealth-Lab can be automated for that purpose - discussed in the User Guide.

If you missed your scheduled run, right click and "Run Now" is correct, as you did.

This doesn't make sense to me. What do you mean by getting a buy/signal for an open position? Maybe we're using different terminology. Signals are orders to be put in the market tomorrow or on the next bar.

You can't expect a Buy signal for an open position - only a Sell one.

What I am looking for is the result of a right click and "Run Now" when I open up Wealthlab and the workspace opens, with out having me to "right click and run now."

I close my Laptop every night, and do not want to keep it open when not in use.

Thank you,

If you've closed the laptop which made the SM miss its scheduled run, you have to do a "Run Now".
