The graphs aren't nearly as helpful as the tables especially since you can't hover over a bar and get the return (Request).
It's looking like the returns are simply gain/loss when view as percent is not selected since the y-axis isn't changing. (Bug)

But isn't there a table form: the Monthly Returns visualizer?
The question is, how do you want to use a table?
Because...you can right click and copy the Periodic Return Data for further analysis, if required.

A mouseover or maybe a callout / label on each bar (if width allows) to avoid the hover delay:

That works. WL6 had a table but as long as you can see the cash values that's helpful thank you.
